ITAG Valves & Oilfield Products GmbH gets order worth millions for large valves

ITAG Valves & Oilfield Products GmbH has got an order worth millions for the delivery of large valves. The valves with nominal sizes from 28 to 56 inch are designed for the state-owned Saudi Arabian oil company Saudi Aramco and are scheduled to be delivered in 2018.

An exceptional challenge will be the factory acceptance test:
To verify the gas-tightness the high-pressure gas valves with a weight up to 56 tons shall be completely submerged in water. Especially for that purpose a big water basin will be installed in ITAG’s largest production hall.
